Hello Wellspring Family
In response to government guidance on the coronavirus we have decided to suspend all our church meetings until further notice.
This was a difficult decision but as we value the health and safety of our community we feel the most responsible course of action is to respond to the government's request to avoid non-essential contact and support them in their strategy.
More details will follow on how we will stay connected and continue in fellowship during this time, we will send out updates via email, text, messenger groups and Facebook.
We have spoken about being a 'non-anxious presence at an anxious time' and having peace of heart and mind. We follow the Prince of Peace who himself said my "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." (John 14:27)
Lean in to His Presence through prayer and worship, there we find a peace of heart and mind that does not deny a situations existence but deny it the ability to cause distress. Paul said, "Do not be anxious about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus." (Phil 4:6-7)
